No Lightbulbs and Snails in the Kitchen

This guy, the No-Impact Man, or Colin Beavan as i presume his family know him, has gotten rid of his lightbulbs, has no toilet paper, or toiletries,

For detergents, laundry, body soap and toothpaste, they use a combination of vegetable oil, baking soda, vinegar and borax.
There are many places all over the world that don't use toilet paper ... it's a lot more hygienic.

I must say fair dues to no-impact man.
