Oscars are out!

I love awards ceremonies. I mean i love them. For the past few years, I've tried to stay up til ridiculous o'clock watching the Oscars/golden globes, in fact any awards ceremony I'm happy to watch.

Pity bout my lack of channels.

Anywho nominations are out for the big daddy of awards ceremonies: the Oscars.

Best Film: Atonement, Juno, Michael Clayton,
No Country For Old Men, There Will Be Blood.

Best Actor: George Clooney - Michael Clayton, Daniel Day-Lewis - There Will Be Blood, Johnny Depp - Sweeney Todd, Tommy Lee Jones - In The Valley Of Elah, Viggo Mortensen - Eastern Promises.


Best Actress:
, Cate Blanchett - Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Laura Linney - The Savages, Julie Christie - Away From Her, Marion Cotillard - La Vie En Rose, Ellen Page - Juno.

Best Director: Tony Gilroy - Michael Clayton, Julian Schnabel - The Diving Bell And The Butterfly, Jason Reitman - Juno, Joel & Ethan Coen - No Country For Old Men, Paul Thomas Anderson - There Will Be Blood.


Best Support Actress:

There's more Irish interest with 'Falling Slowly' from "Once," Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova nominated for Best Original Song.


Best Foreign Film:
Beaufort, The Counterfeiters, Katyn, Mongol, 12.

Exciting! I haven't seen many of these, so I'm not saying anything except Juno, and Saoirse Ronan for the win!


Sky also has some very pretty dresses worn previously to the Oscars. This is also exciting.
